The home the well spouse lives in, 1 vehicle, prepaid funerals and 2 cemetery plots.
What are the rules for gifting or transferring assets?
Assets transferred between spouses do not count. Assets given away and transferred to anyone else have a 5-year lookback from the date of the transfer/gift.
